Popular Kanto boy group Mirror’s Keung To turns 23 on April 30 and their fans hope to celebrate it with everyone in Hong Kong by creating free-for-all tram rides, charity shops and Instagram.
Free tram ride
To celebrate his birthday, pop band member KeungShow HKFanClub sponsored a free tram ride on April 30 for everyone in Hong Kong.
In a Facebook post, the Hong Kong tram noted that it was “unprecedented” for a local group to sponsor a “Free Ride Day” for everyone in the city.
Free ride day is attributed to generous support from “Keung Sweets” [the name of Keung’s fans] In response to their idol’s call for more charitable work,” the tram operator said.
“Not only will it be a special birthday gift for Keung, but it is also a sign of love and positivity for the community during the pandemic, making 4.30 more important than ever! 🍑🍑🍑💪💪”
Like last year, there will be a “Geong Tram” traveling around Hong Kong Island between now and May 16. See if you are lucky enough to catch him like us.
