25 degrees

BKRW Price: B599

The 25 Degrees restaurant chain in the United States is a “Bordello meets Burger Bar”. They also say that everything in award-winning burger heaven is made from scratch, including the homemade buns. Burgundy wallpaper, signature black and white photos, and giant checkerboard mirror make the dinner setting suitably sophisticated. The burgers, too, are upscale. Think combinations like caramelized onions, bacon, arugula, Prilibato Gorgonzola, and Thousand Island sauce.

District Grill Room & Bar

This upscale steakhouse at 2/F in the Marriott is all about American-style grilling. The county’s modern and elegant vibe takes its cues from New York while all of the beef cuts are sourced from Queensland, Australia. Amidst the black steel lamps and the chalk drawings of New York buildings and the various parts of the cow are large leather chairs and a marble bar. The open kitchen also provides a great scene. Start your meal with a hearty Caesar salad, then choose between Australian Black Angus beef or grilled Atlantic salmon for the main event – and finish off the desserts with our signature flourless chocolate cake. Don’t forget to check out our list of milkshakes for an extra treat.

From the group behind The Local and Crab and Claw comes Carne, a flame-focused South American restaurant that dares to be different. The restaurant occupies a large corner at the bottom of busy Sukhumvit 23 Street. Inside, the atmosphere is a barbecue house along the road, with leather-trimmed chairs, dark wood tables, mood lighting, and exposed brick walls. It’s not all about meat, despite what Karen’s name suggests. Food draws heavily on South American influence, while cooking is characterized by fire in all its forms – smoking, flame grilling, and charcoal grilling.

A multi-storey steakhouse atop Park Hyatt. The walnut and marble interior of this award winning restaurant is stunning. Cocktails hit the sweet spot for the price to quality. This is an excellent material for date night. It’s not just steak on the menu – start with char-grilled tiger prawns with tahini cream and Parmesan ham for the first course, then continue with the smoked eggplant tortellini (homemade of course) for the second. To polish it all up, choose between grilled barramundi with caponata or charcoal grilled wagyu buffet.

This carnivore heaven restaurant serves excellent steaks, delicious tapas and cocktails in a delicious food shop concept. The open kitchen, black patterned tiles, pink walls, and rattan chairs give it a fun and luxurious feel. Food delays his end of the bargain, too. The Meatshop’s claim to fame is clearly its wide selection of premium meats, which includes typical Australian staples, such as Black Angus ribeye, tenderloin and Wagyu striploin, along with local meats such as Chiang Rai Chicken. The Chef Brigade knows how to properly prepare those dishes. The kitchen is always testing meat and playing with different cuisines, while there is a classic cocktail bar to complement the food.

Bailey imports meat from all over – the US, Japan and Australia – and puts loads of dishes on plates fit for a blast. Soaring concrete walls decorated with psychedelic artwork surround massive, engaging wooden tables. There’s a casual open kitchen in the back of the house, where the crew whips out grill plates fit for a blast.

The place has their own charcoal-fired grill, which they called “Charzilla,” and they’re used for everything from seafood to steaks and of course burgers. For BK Restaurant Week 2020, the restaurant is changing things up a bit with the likes of beef jerky, braised beef cheeks bakery, and desserts like yuzu pancakes and caramelized truffle toast.
