The best American and Mexican restaurants participating in BK . Restaurant Week

In case you haven’t heard, BK Restaurant Week is in full swing and reservations are still open until October 2. There are over 60 restaurants and countless kitchens that you can eat your way through, and you might be wondering where to start. If you’re looking to take your palate on a trip outside of Asia, we’ve got recommendations for some good American barbecue and authentic Mexican food.

American

Ash Kickers Brisket and Bourbon

You won’t find any gas or charcoal – just traditional wood smoke – in this authentic American smokehouse in Ekkamai. Sauce isn’t off limits either, which makes this a barbecue for the extremes. Everything — from ketchup to cornbread — is home made, too. 16-hour smoked beef tops the menu, but expect other specialties like beef short ribs, Hawaiian pork, and smoked wings. There is even a vegetarian dish.

Billy Smoke House

You may know Billy Bautista from Osito Unique Spanish and La Monita. Here, Bailey takes low, slow smoked meats with an all-American barbecue style that recalls his Californian roots. Billy’s Smokehouse whips up giant plates of smoked meat, finger licking, and all the sides your stomach could desire.
