Fans eager to head back to the fields for Wonderfruit Festival’s return to Pattaya will have to move quickly next week as organizers say tickets will only be sold out for a few days.
Organizers said that instead of taking two months to secure tickets for the December festival’s first full event since 2019, attendees would have just six days to pick it up divided into two rounds, suggesting that was for public health reasons.
“This year we will be putting an end to tickets,” the festival announced this week. “Why? It is our responsibility to build something meaningful while taking care of the well-being and safety of our community.”
The organizers did not say whether the decision was taken to please public health authorities or on their own.
Phase one tickets will go on sale at 7pm on Monday starting at 6000 baht. That will rise 500 baht every 24 hours until it reaches 7,000 baht on Thursday.
Then, organizers said an unspecified second phase would start later for another three days. Those who miss it may have to cough at the door for 15,000 THB.
As an “act now, get rewarded” incentive, the festival said people who buy tickets early will get unspecified “other perks and rewards,” if that tickles your FOMO.
Some tickets sold out this week for previous attendees. Those who qualify can check their email.
Ticketmelon sales were not available on Thursday afternoon.
The festival, which was canceled three years ago due to the epidemic, will be held December 15-18 At the usual Siam Country Club stretching southeast of Bangkok in Chonburi Province.
